The Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, which established an exclusive Coral Secretaries Club (CSC) early last year, is organising a special ‘Secretaries Dinner’ on June 28 as a mark of appreciation to honour loyal members of the club for the continuous support they have been extending to the hotel.
The buffet dinner at AED95 per person holds an added surprise – a ‘Fusion Dance Show’ by ‘Sky Crew’, a popular hip hop dance group from the local Skyline College, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
“When we launched the CSC last year our basic motivation was to give due recognition, respect and dignity to a vital cog in business - PAs and secretaries, who are often the unsung heroes of commercial success. The response took us by surprise and has encouraged us to take this unique programme to the next level. The special dinner is just our way of saying ‘thanks’ for the support its members have been extending to us. We want them to have a fun time together, unwind with good food and music, and dance to the fusion moves of Sky Crew,” says Jean Pierre Simon, Regional General Manager, Coral Hotels & Resorts.
“In today’s complex and dynamic business environment, secretaries play a key role that requires rare organisational, communication, data management and other multi-tasking skills. In a way they lubricate the machinery of business to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently. We recognise and appreciate this role and the CSC helps us bond with the secretary community in the UAE. It’s a highly stressful job and only the top-notch can survive it rigours,” he adds.
According to Jean Pierre, the CSC is a ‘secretaries only’ privilege programme that offers exclusive benefits and rewards to its members, which include heavily discounted rates on stay and F&B offerings, as well asadditional incentives for referrals and business generated for the hotel.
“These privileges providesthem the opportunity to relax and unwind in a stress-free environment with their families. In addition, we organise seminars, workshops and other events beneficial for their career advancement,” Jean Pierreconcludes.
The Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, widely known as the ideal retreat for business and leisure travellers, constantly strives to strengthen its links with the business fraternity as well as the resident communities in its area of operation. The secretaries club is one example, others being the sports and cultural activities it organises for the youth and younger children.
The family friendly 156-room hotel has consciously created an environment to foster such links, with its excellent state-of-the-art business and leisure facilities, which include conference and meeting rooms, fitness centre, swimming pools, sports facilities and wide repertoire of dining options.
