August 27, 2007

Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas signed a new management contract for another beautiful property in Jeddah. Comprising 48 deluxe apartments, Coral International Park Residence -Jeddah enjoys an enviable location in Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Avenue (Al Tahlia Street) - within walking distance of popular shopping malls. September 1, 2007

Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas entered into a strategic alliance with Skywards - the frequent flyer programme from Emirates and Sri Lankan Airlines that has an enormous base of almost 3 million members around the world. It entitles all Coral International guests to 3 Skywards Miles for every dollar spent at any of the participating Coral International properties across the region.

Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas launched its first property in KSA. Coral International Hotel - Al Khobar, is a majectic 5-star located in the heart of the city. The stunning hotel was inaugurated by H.H. Prince Jalawi Bin Abdul Aziz Bin Masaed Al Saud, Vice Governor of Eastern Province, in the presence of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi, the owner and president of Al Rajhi Al Rajhi Group of Companies.

In a significant development, Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas signed a management contract for a stunning hotel in the heart of Khartoum. Said Michel Noblet, Managing Director, Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas, 'Internationally, there is a strong appetite for Khartoum (the commercial hub of East Africa) as a tourism and business destination hence we expect continued growth. Owing to its strategic location, Khartoum will give us access to the entire East African region.

In order to deepen and broaden its reach in the region, Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas entered on May 2, 2007 into its first franchise agreement with Al Bahja Group of Companies for a stunning 109-unit deluxe 5-star property in Oman. The contract kicked off a new phase of expansion and diversification for Coral International, Called Coral Boutique Villas at Al Nahda Resort & Spa - Oman, the resort is less than an hour's drive away from Muscat and is a unique sanctuary of tranquility and relaxation that is Al Nahda.

As part of its strong expansion strategy in the UAE, Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas signed a new management contract for a deluxe hotel in Dubai with Mr Suhail Mohammed Khalifa Shaheen Al Murar. The deal was sealed on May 2, 2007 in the presence of a select gathering of local and international journalists.

In a bid to offer its customers greater benefits and better service, Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas entered into an agreement with Hospitality Marketing Concepts (HMC) for Voila Hotel Rewards, an innovative guest loyalty programme specially designed for independent hotel companies.

Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas scored yet another first with the creation of ECOS Hotels - the Middle East's first economically sensible and environmentally responsible chain of hotels targeted at budget travellers.Addressing a select gathering of journalists said Ralph Noblet, Director, ECOS Hotels, 'There's an urgent need to address the soaring demand for budget hotels in not just the UAE but the entire Middle East and we are proud to announce the creation of ECOS Hotels - an innovative venture which for the first time in the region combines sound economic reasoning with ethical ecological practices. Basically, ECOS Hotels is designed for the new world.'

April 17, 2007

Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas entered Syria. The group signed a management contract with Julia Dumna for a stunning, deluxe 5-star hotel in the heart of Aleppo. This is the first of the several projects planned by Coral International in Syria.Enjoying a spectacular location in the heart of Aleppo, within minutes from the historic Citadel, the hotel is outstanding in every way.

Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas took its first steps into Oman with the opening of Coral Hotel, Muscat. The beautiful hotel was officially inaugurated by Mr Suleiman Mohammed Al Yahyai. Present on the occasion was a high-power Coral International delegation led by the group's managing director Michel Noblet.

Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas added to its repertoire another beautiful property, this time in Fujairah. Featuring 176 fully-furnished units, Coral Residence Tower, Fujairah is located less than 5 minutes drive from Fujairah International Airport and Trade Centre. It turned out to be a day packed with surprises and delights for Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas. The brand grabbed three top honours at the prestigious MENA Travel Awards held in Dubai. While Coral Beach Resort, Sharjah walked away with the Silver Award for Best 4-Star Leisure Hotel and Coral Deira, Dubai won the Silver Award for The Best Environmental 5-Star Hotel, Coral Oriental, Dubai picked up the Platinum Award for Best 4-Star New Hotel for 2005.

Coral International expands its presence in the Middle East. The company signed at the Arabian Travel Market a new strategic management contract for yet another exceptional property - this time in Oman. Addressing an exclusive press gathering said Michel P.J. Noblet, "The Arabian Travel Market is recognized worldwide as one of the largest gathering of travel trade, consumers and media and provides the perfect platform to unveil a new project. April, 2006

Coral International began its first international foray outside the Middle East by signing the management contract in South Africa with Cii Holdings who are specialists in property, finance, food business, technology and broadcasting in April 2006. Located in Central Business District next to the parliament, this magnificent Deluxe 5-star hotel is expected to start operations by 2008 i.e. two years before the Football World Cup.

Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments was officially launched by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Qassimi, Chairman and CEO, Manafa and Vice-Chairman, Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas.
It was an exciting time of steady expansion and sound success. But the founding fathers were far from satisfied and a further bold step forward was needed to show the brand's commitment towards a safe and healthy environment. On the day, Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas became the first hotel management company in the Middle East to go alcohol-free. This proved to be a turning point in the company's history and from henceforth, besides business and leisure travelers, the Coral properties became the first choice for families too.


July 1, 2005

Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments, one of the city's most luxurious 5-star boutique residences and the sole deluxe accommodation option in the Al Barsha area, opened its doors to guests. This became the fifth property to start operations under the Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas banner.


April, 2005

Coral International became the first hotel chain in the Middle East to be affiliated with Boutique Hotels & Resorts International (BHRI) - a prestigious alliance of independent, selected boutique hotels and resorts from around the globe. BHRI brings genuine boutique hotels to the forefront for travellers seeking an exceptional boutique experience, and Coral International properties with their distinct and intriguing personalities become ideal choice for boutique aficionados to experience sophisticated amenities and personalized service in the Middle East.
Coral Oriental, Dubai, a distinctive hotel, offering uncompromising service and unmatched convenience, was launched. October, 2004

Coral International signed a management agreement for Coral Suites, Ajman. Located on the Corniche Road, overlooking the Arabian Gulf, Coral Suites, Ajman, oozes modern urban style. The hotel has 95 rooms out of which 81 are suites. Equipped with all first class amenities, most of the rooms have private balconies with panoramic sea views.

May 2, 2004

Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas was officially launched at an exclusive press conference held at Coral Deira, Dubai. The conference was attended by all leading publications in the UAE. Michel P.J. Noblet, Managing Director, Coral International, declared at the press conference that the company's objective was to develop 25 properties by 2008. The statement made headlines the next day.

January, 2004

Coral International acquired its second property Coral Deira, Dubai - a five-star that is sophisticated in tastes and cosmopolitan in outlook.
The company signed the management contract for Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments, Dubai. Within days, construction began on the site.
Coral Beach Resort, Sharjah won the New Millennium International Award for Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry.

October, 2003
