Coral Hotels & Resorts announced four new hotels in Sudan that will be operated under its three different brands namely Coral Niyala – Khartoum, Corp Burj Al Noor – Khartoum, EWA Port Sudan and EWA Nile Tower – Khartoum. 

The soft launch of Coral Hotel – Aden followed in the month too.The hotel features 143 spacious guest rooms including 25 self-contained suites.

Coral Hotels & Resorts stepped into Sudan with two outstanding hotels in Khartoum and Port Sudan. The management agreement was formalised with Sudanese Kuwaiti Hotels Co. Ltd. (SKHC) for Coral Khartoum and Coral Port Sudan. This marks Coral’s first move into North-East Africa.

Coral Hotels & Resorts strengthened its hold over KSA with the announcement of 2 new projects at Arabian Travel Market. Coral Dhahran is at an advanced stage of development and is a luxurious hotel strategically located minutes from the city’s prominent intersection between Prince Faisal bin Fahd road and King Saud road. It features 153 keys including 23 rooms exclusively dedicated for ladies. Coral Riyadh is equally distinctive and boasts all five star facilities and services.

Continuing its expansion in Jordan, Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management contract for Coral Sadeen Amman that is owned by the Sadeen Group. The hotel features 92 elegantly appointed deluxe guestrooms and suites, two restaurants, two beautiful ballrooms, outstanding meeting facilities and up to date technology.

Extending its commitment to the Saudi Arabian hospitality market, Coral Hotels & Resorts entered in to an agreement with Al Fanar Group to manage the group’s new hotel in Jeddah, the Red Sea city. Currently under construction, the property located at the prestigious Jeddah Corniche will open early in 2011. Coral Jeddah will feature 54 rooms, eight suites and eight studio apartments as well as two restaurants, roof-top cafe and three function rooms, health club and a pool.

• Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management contract Coral Al Khoory Hotel Apartments with Al Khoory group. • Coral Hotels & Resorts rolled out its powerful new brand identity and marketing campaign. • Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management contract for its second hotel in Syria. The Coral Martini Aleppo is a unique hotel strategically located in the historic city of Aleppo at the main gate greeting visitors from Damascus and Turkey. Coral Martini Aleppo will be set in 1200sq meters of lush gardens providing a perfect retreat to guests exploring the historical riches of the city. Included in the hotel's portfolio are all categories of rooms: single, double, twin and junior suites.
• As part of its strong expansion strategy, Coral Hotels & Resorts signed the management contract for Coral Plaza Al Ahsa, a deluxe hotel in KSA. Using the most advanced technology, Coral Hotels & Resorts went live on all Global Distribution Systems, Online Distribution Directories and Internet Distribution System. • Coral Hotels & Resorts signed the management contract for Coral Yasmin Tower - Doha. The hotel will comprise 220 units along with outstanding business and leisure facilities including a unique restaurant, meeting room, ballroom, business center, spa, fitness center / gym, swimming pool & shopping arcade.
• Coral Hotels & Resorts expanded its portfolio with the addition of Coral Beach Resort -RAK. The hotel will offer its guest 200 units with superb restaurant, meeting room, ballroom, business center, spa, fitness center / gym, swimming pool & shopping arcade.
• Coral Hotels & Resorts signed Coral Sharjah Tower, a beautiful 172 unit property enjoying a strategic location in the city. Aside from other facilities the hotel will offer its guests a state-of-the-art business center and gym and fitness club.

Coral Hotels & Resorts inked its first project in Egypt called Coral Cosmopolitan Hotel - Cairo. • Coral Hotels & Resorts added to its repertoire another beautiful property, this time in Fujairah. Featuring 176 fully-furnished units, Coral Residence Tower, Fujairah is located less than 5 minutes drive from Fujairah International Airport and Trade Centre. • Coral Hotels & Resorts took its first steps into Oman with the opening of Coral Hotel, Muscat. The beautiful hotel was officially inaugurated by Mr Suleiman Mohammed Al Yahyai. Present on the occasion was a high-power Coral Hotels & Resorts delegation led by the group's managing director Michel Noblet.

• Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management contract with Julia Dumna for a stunning, deluxe 5-star hotel in the heart of Aleppo in Syria. Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments, one of the city's most luxurious 5-star boutique residences and the sole deluxe accommodation option in the Al Barsha area, opened its doors to guests. This became the fifth property to start operations under the Coral Hotels & Resorts banner. The hotel was officially launched by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Qassimi, Chairman and CEO, MANAFA LLC and Vice-Chairman, Coral Hotels & Resorts. On the day, Coral Hotels & Resorts became the first hotel management company in the Middle East to go alcohol-free. This proved to be a turning point in the company's history and from henceforth, besides business and leisure travelers, the Coral properties became the first choice for families too.

Coral Hotels & Resorts acquired its second property Coral Deira, Dubai - a five-star that is sophisticated in tastes and cosmopolitan in outlook. The company signed the management contract for Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments, Dubai. Within days, construction began on the site. Coral Beach Resort, Sharjah won the New Millennium International Award for Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry.

Coral Hotels & Resorts was officially launched on May 2 at an exclusive press conference held at Coral Deira, Dubai. The conference was attended by all leading publications in the UAE. Michel P.J. Noblet, Managing Director, Coral Hotels & Resorts, declared at the press conference that the company's objective was to develop 25 properties by 2008. The statement made headlines the next day.

Coral Hotels & Resorts signed a management agreement for Coral Suites, Ajman. Located on the Corniche Road, overlooking the Arabian Gulf, Coral Suites, Ajman, oozes modern urban style. The hotel has 95 rooms out of which 81 are suites. Equipped with all first class amenities, most of the rooms have private balconies with panoramic sea views.
